Product Name: Membrane Cleaner for Organics 

Performance Use:

Membrane Cleaner ProtecMBC®1554W is a special cleaner developed for the removal of organics, oils, bio-adhesive membranes, etc. It consists of surfactant, chelating agent and alkaline additives. It is made of surfactants, chelating agents and alkaline additives, and can be widely used in nanofiltration, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and other systems of all brands of aromatic polyamide membranes. It can effectively enhance the effect of routine cleaning of membrane elements and improve the operation of the system.

Applicable Conditions:

Chemical cleaning is required when the system shows the following signs:

(1) A 10-15% drop in standardized water production;

(2) A 10-15% rise in the standardized differential pressure between influent and concentrate;

(3) A 10-15% rise in influent pressure;

(4) Standardized system desalination rate decreased by 1-2% or product water salinity increased significantly.

Usage:

(1) Slowly add the dosage obtained by calculation into the cleaning tank (generally diluted to 1.5%-2.5%), circulate the mixed wash solution with a fresh water pump, adjust the pH to 12.0;

(2) cycle cleaning, depending on the severity of pollution, generally 1-10 hours, such as long time, can be immersed for a certain period of time and then cycle. Cleaning process to take samples to observe the cleaning effect, such as turbidity of the liquid, color changes, flocculent production;

(3) If the pollution is serious, it is necessary to completely empty the first batch of cleaning solution to prevent the re-deposition of pollutants, and then re-formulate the cleaning solution;

(4) Cycling process, the appropriate increase in temperature will help the cleaning effect, but do not exceed the specified temperature;

(5) To achieve the best cleaning effect should be used in conjunction with ProtecMBC®1550W.

Packaging and Storage:

Generally packaged in plastic drums, 25kg/drum; or according to customer specific requirements.

Membrane cleaner ProtecMBC®1554W is an alkaline product, pay attention to labor protection during operation, should avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc., after contact with a large amount of water rinse.
