Performance Uses:
ProtecMBC® 1581W Reverse Osmosis Flocculant is a special agent for membrane systems, which not only has very good flocculation effect, but is also compatible with the ProtecMBC® series of reverse osmosis scale inhibitors. It is generally added prior to the multi-media filter to greatly improve the removal of colloidal particles and dissolved polymers from the multi-media filter.
Usage:
Typical dosing range is 0.5-5mg/L. The optimal dosing dosage is determined by water sample test results and experiments, and either too low or too high a dosage will affect the flocculation effect. The dosage should be minimized under the premise of having the best flocculation effect. Suggestions are as follows: before dosing, measure the turbidity and SDI at the outlet of the filter without dosing, if the SDI is less than 3, then no flocculant can be added. Initially add 0.5 ppm of ProtecMBC®1581W and measure the turbidity and SDI every hour for 16 to 24 hours. If the SDI is less than 3, reduce the dosage; otherwise, increase the dosage by 0.5 ppm and repeat the above steps. It is important to note that the ProtecMBC® 1581W membrane system specific flocculant must be added prior to the multi-media filter.
Packaging and Storage:
ProtecMBC®1581W is usually packaged in 25kg plastic drums or according to the specific requirements of the customer, with a shelf life of one year at room temperature and protected from light; the minimum storage temperature of 0 ℃.
Safety Protection:
ProtecMBC®1581W should pay attention to labor protection during operation, avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc., and rinse with plenty of water after contact.
