Product Name: Polyether Polyol Defoamer
Product Description: Developed considering the chemical reaction characteristics of power plant desulfurization, this product is primarily synthesized from glycerin, propylene oxide, and ethylene oxide under high pressure in the presence of a catalyst. It possesses excellent foam elimination and suppression capabilities, along with good thermal and chemical stability.
Physicochemical Indicators:
Item | Technical Specification |
Appearance | Colorless or light yellow transparent oily viscous liquid |
pH (1% aqueous solution) | 5.0-7.0 |
Density | 0.85-1.05g/cm3 |
Molecular Weight | 2500-3500 |
Acid Value | <0.5mg/g |
Cloud Point (1% aq. sol.) | 16-20℃ |
Applications:
Defoaming: Dilute 1 kg of defoamer with 4 kg of water to make a solution. Spray a small amount of this solution onto the foam surface; the foam will disappear immediately.
Foam Suppression: The client selects one unit's absorber tower and adds the defoamer to the sump (added based on the principle of ≤ 3 kg for a 350 MW unit and ≤ 6 kg for a 600 MW unit). Observe the slurry in the absorber tower for at least 12 hours to ensure no foaming occurs.
Principle: Under high-salt conditions, the polyether defoamer eliminates and suppresses slurry foaming by altering the surface tension of the foam.
Packaging:
This product is packaged in 25L and 200L plastic drums.
Storage: This product should be stored in a cool, dry indoor environment. It must not be stored for prolonged periods in high-temperature or extreme cold environments.
