Performance and Application: During the evaporation process of high-sulfate and high-calcium sewage using MVR or multi-effect evaporators, hard calcium sulfate scale readily forms on equipment surfaces. This leads to a rapid decline in heat transfer efficiency and evaporation rate, necessitating frequent shutdowns for cleaning. Calcium sulfate scale is hard, dense, and difficult to remove. High-pressure water descaling is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and can easily damage equipment. SGR-1108 is a specialized chemical agent designed to address calcium sulfate scaling in evaporators. This agent effectively reduces the formation of scale such as calcium sulfate, calcium carbonate, and magnesium carbonate during the evaporation of high-sulfate, high-calcium wastewater, with a calcium sulfate scale inhibition rate of >90%.
The agent achieves scale inhibition through mechanisms such as chelation-solubilization and lattice distortion. The dispersant components also undergo chemical reactions with scale already formed on the evaporator surfaces, making it less likely to precipitate and adhere, and helping to remove existing scale. This ensures clean evaporator surfaces, improves heat transfer rates, and extends the service life and cleaning cycles of evaporation equipment.
Usage Method: Dilute SGR1108W specialized scale inhibitor and dispersant in a dosing tank, then feed it into the evaporation equipment along with the wastewater via a metering pump according to the dosage. It can also be added directly as the neat liquid. The general dosage is 80-120 ppm; the specific dosage should be determined based on water quality conditions. Before using the chemical, the dosing tank and lines should be flushed clean to avoid affecting performance.
Packaging, Storage & Transportation: Packed in 25 kg, 200 kg, and 1000 kg plastic drums. Store in a cool, dry place. Shelf life is twelve months. Handle with care during transportation to prevent impact.
