Product application:

This product is mainly used to treat various rust stains, oil stains, oxide scales and other substances on the surface of steel. The rust converter can not only transform the rust on the surface but also penetrate deep into the rust, forming chelates with iron ions in the rust to accelerate the formation of the rust conversion film, and has a good anti-rust and anti-corrosion effect.

Instructions for Use:

The surface of the workpiece should be dry.  If there is heavy oil stain, paint film, dirt, dust, etc., they should be cleaned up in advance.

Apply a paint brush or a long-fiber cloth dipped in rust conversion agent to the rusted surface of the workpiece, ensuring that the agent fully contacts the surface of the workpiece.  Keep it for several minutes.  For severely rusted areas, wipe it several times.

Keep the workpiece dry until its surface is not sticky to the touch.  Visually, the oil stains and rust on the surface of the workpiece are completely removed, and the surface color is a continuous and uniform blue film or black film.

During the surface treatment and drying process of the workpiece, it is strictly prohibited to come into contact with water sources.  After drying, it should be coated quickly.  The drying time is generally 0.5 to 2 hours (the time can be shortened or extended according to the environmental temperature and humidity).

Physical and chemical parameters:

Appearance: Light green transparent liquid;         Density: 1.1-1.2;             PH value: ≤3.5

Precautions:

To reduce the residue of cloth fibers on the surface of the workpiece and affect the appearance quality of the spray coating, it is best to use long-fiber materials with good water absorption for the cloth or use fine acid-resistant brushes.

Due to the strong corrosiveness of this agent, the container holding the agent during use must be acid-resistant.

During use, the operator should wear protective equipment (such as rubber gloves, etc.).  If it accidentally splashes onto the skin, rinse immediately with clean water and see a doctor if necessary.

Outdoor construction is prohibited on rainy days.

Packaging, storage and transportation:

This product is packed in 25KG blue plastic drums.  It is non-flammable and non-explosive.  It should be stored in a cool and dry place. During storage and transportation, leakage should be prevented.
