Performance Use:
Reverse osmosis biocide ProtecMBC®1560W is a non-oxidizing biocide, microbial cells have a very strong penetration ability, and microbial cell tissue decomposition and destruction of microorganisms, bacteria, fungi, algae and other microorganisms in the membrane system equipment has a very strong killing and inhibiting effect.
Pharmaceutical Characteristics:
(1) Non-oxidizing bactericide, rapid and effective bactericidal effect;
(2) It has a certain stripping effect on the slime formed by bacteria;
(3) Bactericidal broad-spectrum: can kill common bacteria, fungi, algae and other microorganisms in the system;
(4) Compatible with all membranes;
(5) Wide pH range, good biodegradability, no environmental pollution;
(6) Safe operation: non-flammable and non-volatile.
Usage: There are 3 ways to use ProtecMBC®1560W, a special biocide for reverse osmosis:
(1) Continuous dosing: Continuous dosing by metering pump during the operation of reverse osmosis system, the general dosing concentration is 2-6ppm, diluted 10 times with desalinated water.
(2) continuous addition of feed water by metering pump during operation, adding 200-400ppm; adding 1 time in several days interval, each time 30-60min. this way does not interrupt the production of demineralized water, but the dosage of chemicals is large.
(3) Stop the system operation, use chemical cleaning method to configure the sterilization solution, and circulate the solution to the system for treatment. If the system is seriously contaminated, the system should be chemically cleaned in situ first, and then the system should be sterilized according to the following steps: (a) add water to the cleaning tank to prepare reverse osmosis biocide ProtecMBC®1560W at a concentration of 400 ppm-800 ppm; (b) adjust the pH of the cleaning solution at 7.0 or less (citric acid or hydrochloric acid can be used, with the aim of prolonging the life of the membrane); (c) Cycle for 45min.
Packaging and Storage:
ProtecMBC®1560W is generally packed in 25kg plastic drums or according to customer's specific requirements. Shelf life is one year when stored at room temperature and protected from light.
Safety Protection:
ProtecMBC®1560W in use, if the feed water contains hydrogen sulfide or dissolved iron ions or manganese ions (chlorine and hydrogen peroxide) can not be used in the use of this biocide.ProtecMBC®1560W corrosive, attention to the operation of labor protection, should be avoided with the skin, eyes, etc., and after contact with a large number of water to rinse.
