Performance and Use:

Membrane cleaner ProtecMBC®1552W is a special cleaner developed for removing calcium sulfate scale, reacting with calcium sulfate to produce air bubbles, mainly composed of a variety of chelating agents, dispersants, penetrating agents. It can be widely used in nanofiltration, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and other systems, and the excellent cleaning effect can prolong the operation time and service life of the membrane.

Applicable Conditions:

Chemical cleaning is required when the system shows the following signs:

(1) A 10-15% drop in standardized water production;

(2) A 10-15% rise in the standardized differential pressure between influent and concentrate;

(3) A 10-15% rise in influent pressure;

(4) Standardized system desalination rate decreased by 1-2% or product water salinity increased significantly.

Usage:

(1) According to the calculation of the amount of dosing slowly added to the cleaning tank (generally diluted to 30% -100%), depending on the scaling situation, with a clear water pump cycle mixed cleaning solution;

(2) cycle cleaning, time depending on the severity of pollution, generally 2-12 hours, such as long time, can be immersed for a certain period of time and then recirculation, the cleaning process should be sampled regularly to observe the cleaning effect, by measuring the cleaning solution in the calcium ion and sulfate ion concentration changes to determine the cleaning effect;

(3) If the contamination is serious, the first batch of cleaning solution needs to be thoroughly emptied to prevent the pollutants from being re-deposited, and then re-formulate the cleaning solution;

(4) In order to achieve the best cleaning effect, it should be used together with ProtecMBC®1550W and ProtecMBC®1551W.

Packaging and Storage:

Generally packaged in plastic drums, 25kg/drum; or according to customer specific requirements.
