Performance Usage:

Membrane Cleaner ProtecMBC®1551W is a special alkaline cleaner for removing oils, organics, bio-adhesive membranes, and other acid-insoluble substances (e.g., silicates, sulfates, etc.). It can be widely used in nanofiltration, microfiltration, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis systems for all brands of aromatic polyamide membranes.

Applicable Conditions:

Chemical cleaning is required when the system shows the following signs:

(1) A 10-15% drop in standardized water production;

(2) A 10-15% rise in the standardized differential pressure between influent and concentrate;

(3) A 10-15% rise in influent pressure;

(4) Standardized system desalination rate decreased by 1-2% or product water salinity increased significantly.

Method of Use:

(1) According to the calculation of the amount of dosing slowly added to the cleaning tank (generally diluted to 1.5% -2.5%), with a clear water pump to circulate mixed cleaning solution, adjust the pH value to 11.5-12.0;

(2) cycle cleaning, depending on the severity of pollution, generally 1-10 hours, such as long time, can be immersed for a certain period of time and then circulate, the cleaning process should be sampled to observe the cleaning effect, such as the turbidity of the liquid, the color changes, the presence or absence of flocculent production;

(3) If the pollution is serious, you need to completely empty the first batch of cleaning fluid to prevent the re-deposition of pollutants, and then re-formulate the cleaning fluid;

(4) The cycle process, the appropriate temperature to help the cleaning effect, but do not exceed the specified temperature;

(5) In order to achieve the best cleaning effect should be used in conjunction with ProtecMBC®1550W.

Generally packaged in plastic drums, 25kg / barrel; or according to customer specific requirements.
