Performance Uses:

In order to inhibit bacterial growth in membrane systems, systems often use oxidizing biocides with high biocidal capacity. These residual chlorine oxidizers can cause irreversible oxidative damage to many composite membranes, reducing membrane service life. ProtecMBC®1571W is a liquid reducing product primarily designed to eliminate the oxidizing free chlorine or chlorine compounds mentioned above, and it can react with the residual chlorine in a short period of time to eliminate the oxidizing potential. Therefore, it can be widely used in membrane systems.

Usage:

ProtecMBC®1571W Reverse Osmosis Reducer is a liquid product, the specific dosage should be determined according to the oxidized free chlorine or chlorine compound content of the water body. Generally 1ppm residual chlorine needs to consume 2-3ppm of reducing agent. In order to achieve the best reducing effect, the dosing point is best set before the mixer or security filter; dosing equipment material is recommended to use stainless steel, polyethylene, PVC or polytetrafluoroethylene, not recommended to use carbon steel.

Packaging and Storage:

Liquid products, generally packaged in 25kg plastic drums or according to customer specific requirements.

Safety Protection:

ProtecMBC®1571W is a strong reducing agent, should be stored separately from oxidizers and acids, do not mix storage. Pay attention to labor protection during operation, avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc., and flush with plenty of water after contact.
