Performance and Use:

Reverse osmosis scale inhibitor ProtecMBC®1500W is an eight-fold concentrate of a highly effective scale inhibitor for reverse osmosis (RO) systems and nanofiltration (NF) and ultrafiltration (UF) systems, which prevents fouling on the membrane surface, improves the water yield and quality of the water produced by the system, and reduces the operating costs. Since it is concentrated liquid, it can greatly reduce the transportation cost.

Product Features:

(1) Effective control of inorganic scaling in a wide range of concentrations, with a maximum permissible LSI of 2.8 without the addition of acid;

(2) It does not coalesce with iron and aluminum oxides and silicon compounds to form insoluble substances;

(3) It is particularly effective in controlling iron, aluminum and heavy metal pollutants, and the concentration of iron on the inlet side is allowed to be up to 8.0 mg/L;

(4) It can effectively inhibit the polymerization and deposition of silicon, and the concentration of SiO2 on the concentrated water side can reach 290 mg/L;

(5) Can be used for reverse osmosis CA and TFC membranes, nanofiltration membranes and ultrafiltration membranes;

(6) Excellent solubility and stability;

(7) Effective for feed water pH in the range of 5-10.

Usage:

The dosage of reverse osmosis scale inhibitor ProtecMBC®1500W is calculated according to the system water quality analysis report and the system operation, generally the dosage is 0.5-2mg/L. Within the recommended dosage range, it can inhibit most of the calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, ferric hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide, and silica scale formation.

It is best to add before the precision filter. Generally, it is diluted, and the diluted water is RO water or demineralized water. Reformulate the agent every 5-7 days, note that before reformulating the agent, the tank should be cleaned to prevent the growth of microorganisms.

Packaging and Storage:

Reverse osmosis scale inhibitor ProtecMBC®1500W is generally packaged in 25kg plastic drums or according to customer specific requirements.
