Performance and Use:
ProtecMBC® 1501W is a highly effective scale inhibitor for reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF) and ultrafiltration (UF) systems, which prevents fouling on the membrane surface, improves water yield and quality, and reduces operating costs.
Product Features:
(1) Effective control of inorganic scaling in a wide range of concentrations, the maximum permissible value of LSI is 2.8 under the condition of no acid addition;
(2) It does not coalesce with iron and aluminum oxides and silicon compounds to form insoluble substances;
(3) It is particularly effective in controlling iron, aluminum and heavy metal pollutants, and the concentration of iron on the inlet side is allowed to be up to 8.0 mg/L;
(4) It can effectively inhibit the polymerization and deposition of silicon, and the concentration of SiO2 on the concentrated water side can reach 290 mg/L;
(5) Can be used for reverse osmosis CA and TFC membranes, nanofiltration membranes and ultrafiltration membranes;
(6) Excellent solubility and stability;
(7) Effective for feed water pH in the range of 5-10.
Usage:
The dosage of reverse osmosis scale inhibitor ProtecMBC®1501W is calculated according to the system water quality analysis report and the system operation, generally the dosage is 3-5mg/L. Within the recommended dosage range, it can control most of the calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, ferric hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide, and silica scale formation.
Preferably dosed prior to precision filters. Can be diluted or original liquid dosing, in order to dosing accuracy, generally used dilution dosing, dilution water is RO water or demineralized water, recommended dilution times not more than 10 times. Every 5-7 days to re-formulate the agent, note that before re-formulating the agent, should clean the drug box to prevent the growth of microorganisms.
Packing and Storage:
Reverse osmosis scale inhibitor ProtecMBC®1501W is usually packed in 25kg plastic drums or according to customer's specific requirements.
