Properties and Uses: This product is a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid. It is primarily used for the passivation cleaning of ferrous sulfide scale inside equipment and hydrogen sulfide deodorization during shutdown maintenance of petrochemical equipment. It prevents the spontaneous combustion of ferrous sulfide upon contact with air and mitigates hazards posed by malodorous gases to humans and the environment, ensuring the smooth progress of maintenance.
Usage Method: This product is a concentrate. For passivation cleaning of ferrous sulfide and as a deodorant for malodorous gases, depending on the field equipment and process, it can be diluted to a 1%-2% concentration for circulation or soaking. Use it in conjunction with a small amount of FQX-002 degreaser. The best results are achieved approximately 12 hours after the product is fully introduced.
Packaging, Storage & Transport:
(1) This product is packaged in plastic barrels: 25Kg/barrel, 1t/barrel, or as required by the customer.
(2) Store this product in a dark, ventilated warehouse, away from ignition sources and high temperatures. Storage temperature should not exceed 30°C.
(3) Store separately from flammable materials, combustibles, reducing agents, acids, and other substances. Avoid mixed storage.
(4) The storage area should be equipped with leak emergency response equipment and suitable containment materials.
Safety Precautions:
(1) This product is slightly corrosive. Avoid inhalation and ingestion. Operators must wear protective goggles, acid/alkali resistant gloves, protective masks, and work caps. If necessary, wear acid/alkali resistant protective clothing.
(2) Do not eat or drink during work. Ensure ventilation or local exhaust. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after work.
(3) Prevent collisions during handling; pay attention to sealing; prevent damage to packaging and containers. In case of a leak, dilute and flush with large amounts of water or cover with sand/soil.
(4) Avoid rough handling during loading and unloading. Ensure containers do not leak, collapse, fall, or become damaged. Prevent the solution from splashing and causing injury during handling.
