As the spring breeze brings warmth, beauty and vitality bloom. To celebrate International Women's Day (March 8th), enrich the cultural and spiritual lives of its female employees, and preserve China's outstanding intangible cultural heritage, Scien Green Company organized a special event on the afternoon of March 6th titled "Iridescent Luster, Embracing Beauty: An Intangible Cultural Heritage Mother-of-Pearl DIY Workshop." Gathering together in high spirits, everyone embarked on a delightful encounter with traditional heritage—crafting with their own hands—and spent a warm, meaningful holiday together.
The art of mother-of-pearl inlay draws its materials from deep-sea shells; only after undergoing multiple processes—including grinding, cutting, and inlaying—do these shells transform into exquisite objects. Their characteristic quality of shimmering brilliance, refined by the passage of time, mirrors the modern woman: gentle yet strong, resilient, and radiant. The event venue was filled with a warm and elegant atmosphere as everyone sat together, fully immersed in the joy of creating traditional mother-of-pearl art. Shimmering shell fragments and an array of delicate accessories were carefully selected and meticulously affixed by nimble hands. Participants chatted and assisted one another, experiencing the unique charm of traditional craftsmanship firsthand through the act of creation.
