The "Saudi Red Sea Future New City Shura Island Seawater Desalination System Cleaning" project of Scien Green has been successfully delivered

2025-06-27

Recently, the industrial cleaning project for the seawater desalination system on Shura Island, a future city in the Red Sea of Saudi Arabia, undertaken by Xingrui Company, has successfully passed the acceptance inspection. After ten months of hard work, the Singery project team overcame multiple difficulties with precise organization, efficient implementation, quality service and excellent technology, and won high praise from PowerChina, the general contractor AKWA and the Saudi owner, providing a solid guarantee for the realization of clean energy driven and ecological sustainable development of the Red Sea New City, and adding another eye-catching footnote to China Saudi Arabia cooperation under the "the Belt and Road" initiative.

The Saudi Red Sea Future New City project is one of the core projects under Saudi Arabia's "2030 Vision" framework, aiming to create the world's first benchmark for future cities driven by clean energy and ecological sustainability. This project is the first large-scale infrastructure complex project undertaken by a Chinese enterprise in Saudi Arabia, including photovoltaic, energy storage, power grid, seawater desalination, water supply network, wastewater treatment and many other modules. This project is not only a culmination of architecture and energy technology, but also an experimental field for global sustainable urban development. As the project progresses, its achievements may redefine the possibilities of future cities. Thanks to its rich experience in overseas industrial cleaning, Xingrui Company has successfully undertaken the Shura Island seawater desalination and cooling water pipeline system cleaning project, providing professional support for Saudi Arabia's energy transformation and urban innovation.

The temperature in Saudi Arabia has been consistently high at 40-50 degrees Celsius for a long time, and Shura Island is located along the Red Sea coast, with complex construction environments and limited material transportation. The owner has extremely strict requirements for environmental protection and process standards, posing significant challenges to the project. The Xingrui team adheres to the principles of "high standards, high quality, and high efficiency" and scientifically formulates cleaning plans. On the one hand, based on the pipeline material and operating characteristics, the cleaning agent ratio and process flow are optimized to ensure zero damage and zero pollution; On the other hand, by dynamically adjusting the construction plan and strengthening collaboration among multiple departments, we overcame the dual pressure of high-temperature operations and tight project schedules, and efficiently and high-quality completed all the work of the project. The precision coordination, ultra-high efficiency, and excellent quality demonstrated by the Xingrui project team have won high recognition and praise from the subcontractor Electric Power Construction Railway Army, the general contractor AKWA, and the Saudi owner. The key indicators of the cleaning effect, pipeline cleanliness, and system operation stability of this project far exceed those of similar projects completed by foreign enterprises in the first phase. This not only demonstrates Xingrui's strong strength in the cleaning field, but also fully demonstrates the advanced level of "Chinese cleaning".

The successful delivery of the Saudi Red Sea project is another important achievement of Singri along the "the Belt and Road" after projects such as Red Stone Solar Thermal in South Africa and Nuo in Morocco. Through this project, the company has further accumulated construction management experience in extreme environments, improved cross-border multi team collaboration mechanisms, and provided replicable models for expanding into the Middle East and North Africa markets in the future. In the future, Xingrui will continue to uphold the principle of "everything for the happiness of employees and customers", driven by technological innovation, deepen the research and development of green cleaning technology, actively participate in global energy transformation and carbon neutrality actions, and help China's intelligent manufacturing shine on the international stage.
