The Three Gorges Energy Qinghai Golmud 100MW Solar Thermal Project is located in the Wutumeiren Photovoltaic Solar Thermal Park in Golmud City, Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province. The site is a barren desert with an altitude of over 2900 meters. Due to the configuration of a large capacity thermal storage system, it can form a highly complementary and sustainable multi energy complementary power generation mode with fluctuating power sources such as photovoltaics and wind power. It is one of the key clean energy demonstration projects promoted by the country. The project is jointly undertaken by Shouhang High tech and Northwest Institute, China Electric Power Construction Group Sichuan Engineering Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. as an EPC general contractor, aiming to utilize the abundant solar energy resources in Golmud, adopt advanced solar thermal power generation and energy storage technologies, and have significant environmental and economic benefits. After the completion of the project, the average annual power generation will reach 227 million kilowatt hours, which can meet the electricity needs of hundreds of thousands of households, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by hundreds of thousands of tons per year, and greatly promote the progress of clean energy technology and regional economic development.

In November 2024, upon receiving the construction notice, Xingrui Company immediately activated a rapid response mechanism and quickly formed a tough team consisting of senior technical personnel and experienced construction backbone based on in-depth research of the project site in the early stage. The project is located in the Gobi Desert of Golmud City, Qinghai Province, far from the city, with limited infrastructure and extremely inconvenient transportation. In order to arrive on time, the team traveled day and night, and after several days of trekking, they arrived at the site on time. Faced with extreme environments such as severe cold in winter, large temperature differences between day and night, and frequent sandstorms, team members fully demonstrated their "particularly hardworking and combat ready" style, and completed key preparations such as temporary pipeline system construction and equipment cleaning and debugging on schedule. When the delay in equipment system debugging by the owner affected the cleaning progress, Xingrui always adhered to the business philosophy of "everything for the happiness of employees and customers". The team took the initiative to provide front-line services, assisted in completing additional work such as condensate pump debugging and water production system renovation, continuously improved and optimized the cleaning plan, successfully resolved the technical problem of insufficient water supply flow, and bought valuable time for subsequent equipment installation and debugging, ensuring that the project progressed according to plan. It has been highly recognized by the general contractor, four party consortium, and quality supervision units.
